Test 1 Trend Cut MODEL
Ladies - Full Fashion Combination Category Live Model No competitor age indication - all ages accepted Fantasy and/or artistic hairstyles are forbidden The competitors will carry out a fashionable cut and style. Wet hair. The competitor proceeds with his/her model to the assigned work station. Then the General Commissioner gives three (3) minutes to wet the hair (see example). If the hair is not wet enough, the Wise Men and Stewards will wet the hair again. 1. Cut Before the start of the test, the hair length must be a minimum of 8 cm all over the head. The hair must not be pre-cut and/or pre-styled. The hair must be cut a minimum of 2.5 cm (1 inch) during the allowed time. The Wise Men will check if the rules are respected. 2. Cutting tools All cutting tools are allowed. 3. Color The use of colors is free. Spray colors are forbidden. 4. Styling tools All styling tools are allowed. 5. Products All products are allowed. 6. Hair Extensions Up to 20% of separate hair extensions can be used to add volume, length and contrasting (optional) color. This must be done in advance. Double-hair strips are forbidden. Hair extensions with clips are forbidden - all extensions must be fixed with bonds. 7. Jury A specially appointed Jury panel will judge this competition. The Jury will judge the general impression of the cut, style and color. When judging, the judges must be able to see the complete hairstyle, including the top. If this is not the case, the stewards will put the chairs lower. 8. Penalties Competitors who do not observe the instructions will be penalized according to the penalty chart enforced by the Wise Men. 9. Time 40 minutes 10. Scores Maximum: 30 points, Minimum: 21 points
Test 2 Full Fashion Look MODEL
Ladies - Full Fashion Combination Category Same or different model - pre-done No competitor age indication - all ages accepted Avant-garde and artistic hairstyles are forbidden The competitors have the choice to use 1 or 2 models for these combination tests. They can present long or short hairstyles. At finish, the total look must be like on the cover of a fashion magazine (see Full Fashion Look reference page on what not to present, shown on OMC website). 1. The models must arrive on the competition floor with the Full Fashion Look ready to be judged. The Jury will take into consideration the total look of the model: Hair, make-up, clothes and other accessories. The competitors will have 5 minutes to give the last final touch to their models. Hair extensions are allowed (no double hair strips). 2. A specially appointed Jury panel will judge this competition. The Jury will judge the general impression of the cut, style, color and wardrobe. The model must always carry and display the competitors mirror number. 3. Penalties Competitors who do not observe the instructions will be penalized according to the penalty chart enforced by the Wise Men. 4. Time 5 minutes 5. Score Maximum: 30 points, Minimum: 21 points
Bridal Hairstyle MODEL
Ladies - Fashion Individual Live Model No competitor age indication - all ages accepted Fantasy hairstyles are forbidden The hairstyle must be fashion-oriented like in bridal magazines. Models proceed to the competition floor with open straight hair. The hair must not be pre-styled. The hair can be wet or dry. The Committee of Wise Men checks the hair and brushes it flat back. The competitor creates a traditional bridal hairstyle on long hair, with a total look in mind. During the competition, the competitors may use scissors to clean up the ends. 1. Hair length The hair must be shoulder length or longer. Layers are optional. The minimum layered length must be 10 cm, except in the bang area. 2. Color The use of colors is free. Spray colors are forbidden. 3. Products All products are allowed. 4. Styling Tools All styling tools are allowed. 5. Supports The use of any kind of supports in the hairstyle is forbidden. 6. Hairpieces Hairpieces are forbidden. 7. Hair Extensions Up to 20% of separate hair extensions can be used to add volume, length and contrasting (optional) color. This must be done in advance. Double-hair strips are forbidden. Hair extensions with clips are forbidden - all extensions must be fixed with bonds. 8. Ornaments Ornaments are allowed. 9. Jury A specially appointed Jury panel will judge this competition. The Jury will judge the general impression of the style and color. When judging, the judges must be able to see the complete hairstyle, including the top. If this is not the case, the stewards will put the chairs lower. 10. Penalties Competitors who do not observe the instructions above will be penalized according to the penalty chart enforced by the Wise Men. 11. Time 30 minutes 12. Scores Maximum: 30 points, Minimum: 21 points
Full Fashion Look MODEL
Gents - Fashion Individual Live Model No competitor age indication - all ages accepted Avant-garde and artistic hairstyles are forbidden The competitor has the choice to present a long or short fashionable hairstyle that must be appreciated by the consumer and have a masculine look. At finish, the total look must be like on the cover of a fashion magazine (see Full Fashion Look reference page on what not to present, shown on OMC website). Wet hair. The competitor and model proceed to the assigned work station. Then the General Commissioner gives three (3) minutes to wet the hair (see example). If the hair is not wet enough, the Wise Men and Stewards will wet the hair again. 1. Color The use of colors is free. Spray colors are forbidden. 2. Cut Cutting is forbidden. 3. Hair Extensions Up to 20% of separate hair extensions can be used to add volume, length and contrasting (optional) color. This must be done in advance. Double-hair strips are forbidden. Hair extensions with clips are forbidden - all extensions must be fixed with bonds. 4. Styling tools All styling tools are allowed. 5. Products All fixing products are allowed. 6. Clothes Clothes must be current. Military uniforms or historic clothes are forbidden. 7. Jury A specially appointed Jury panel will judge this competition. The Jury will judge the general impression of the style, color and wardrobe. The model must always carry and display the competitors mirror number. 8. Penalties Competitors who do not observe the instructions will be penalized according to the penalty chart enforced by the Wise Men. 9. Time 15 minutes 10. Scores Maximum: 30 points Minimum: 21 points
